The next Search Guard release is now ready!
Search Guard 45.0.0 brings revamped user attributes, improvements to the audit logging and a couple of bug fixes.
The user attribute mechanism now offers greater flexibility; with multi-valued attributes it is possible to create DLS queries which for example can operate on an array of departments a user is member of. Furthermore, it is now possible to configure a mapping from attributes from external backends to Search Guard user attributes. This offers greater flexibility when working with DLS and having multiple auth backends.
We have now introduced new audit logging categories for accesses from blocked IPs and accesses using blocked user accounts.
