We are glad to announce that the next Search Guard release is now available.
Search Guard 46.0.0 brings these new features:
Role definitions in Search Guard can now also define permissions a user must not have - besides the permissions a user is granted. Thus, for example, you can now easily create a role which grants access to all indices except specific ones.
Multi-Valued User Attributes for Index Patterns
The new-style user attributes introduced in Search Guard 45 got a new function which allows to generate regular expressions from user attributes. Thus, you can create index patterns which match several indices from user attributes.
New-style User Attributes in Internal User Database
The internal user database now also supports the new-style user attributes.
