JVM version - latest for Debian (installed yesterday)
Hi,
I’ve following problem with ES/Kibana + SearchGuard. I’ve installed latest versions of ES and Kibana on Debian. Then I’ve installed SearchGuard step by step according to SG’s page. ES+SG work fine. Butt cannot run Kibana (localhost:5601) - “Firefox can’t establish a connection…”.
Running Kibana from hand in terminal shows following error: “Error: Plugin hapi-auth-cookie already registered in http://localhost:5601”
What to do to force Kibana+SG to run?
Best regards
Most likely you have X-Pack installed and did not turn off X-Pack security, which also registers the hapi-auth-cookie library.
See for example here on how to turn off X-Pack security:
