Where can I find SearchGuard metrics (take 2)?

Hello all,

I’m running ELK v7.10.2 with SG 49.0.0 (and SG 49.1.0 for Kibana). I’d like to capture metrics about SG, like how long authc and authz takes, specifically how long LDAP queries are taking so I can isolate bottlenecks with our observed performance. I haven’t found anything existing in the documentation or community forums, so I’m wondering if there is an API endpoint that can be queried or if this is exposed via JMX, etc. Any help is appreciated!

Sorry right now, there is no way of retrieving such metrics.

I have added a feature request for this here:

However, we have a couple of higher prio things, so I really cannot give an ETA for this.
