When v7.11.1 will be available? Is searchguard v7.10.2-49.0.0 compatible with elasticsearch v7.11.1?

+1, and now 7.11.2 is out.

It’s in the making, we are targeting next week. It will be then released for all available 7.11.x versions.

Does that mean the installation is version agnostic outside of the minor (7.11) release? Or it’s just targeted for all of the current branches?

No, version agnostic plugins are not possible using the ES plugin architecture. We will just release three builds.

That’s what I thought, but I wanted to check since I thought they were redoing some of their plugin APIs in the newer releases. Thanks for the info!
