Search Guard v42 is here!

Hi all,

we’re happy to announce Search Guard v42.0.0, compatible with Elasticsearch 7.7.0 and above.

This release fixes several issues in Search Guard and the Kibana plugin, and also adds a bunch of new features, for example:

Signals: Block support for Slack actions
Slack actions can now send messages with rich formatting and functionality using Slack blocks and attachments.

Signals: Attachment support fo email actions
E-mail actions can be configured to add attachments to emails.

Signals: Support for HTML body format in email actions
E-mail actions support now a new attribute html_body in order to send HTML formatted emails.

Field anonymization: Configure salt dynamically
You can now specify the salt for field anonymization in sg_config.yml which is changeable at runtime
