we’re happy to announce Search Guard v41, compatible with Elasticsearch 7.6.0 and above.
This release fixes several issues in Search Guard and the Kibana plugin, and also adds a bunch of new features, for example:
For example, we introduced a new "blocks"
configuration which you can use to block requests on a global level based on usernames, IP addresses, or network masks:
The JSON web token authenticator now also supports JSON path expression which adds support for nested keys in JWT:
We also improved Signals Alerting regarding scripting and available attributed:
- Signals: Implement watch id and tenant as runtime attribute
- Signals: Add a flag to Execute Watch REST API which allows to view scope of scripts
