IDP Discovery Service in SAML Auth

Hi Team,

I would like to know that Searchguard SAML Auth support IDP discovery service. Discovery service is where user able to select IDP from the list. [https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/DiscoveryService] .e.g. HEAnet :: Edugate Discovery Service . At the moment I am using proxy authentication [apache-shibboleth-sp-kibana] on Kibana.

No, sorry, at the moment we do not support IdP Discovery. We need to look into it to determine if it it feasible to add support for it.

Thanks @jkressin, In proxy auth, I couldn’t get roles in header so I will set SAML proxy using simplesamlphp as (IDP and SP) and searchguard. This will let discover service on simplsamlphp sp and simplesamlphp idp to kibana saml.

If required I can write a blog post which can be used by community.
