Hi I am new to search guard. What is the use of search guard admin. and is it kibana plugin or elasticsearch.
PS: i want to install community version for now
You can operate as the admin user both in Search Guard Elasticsearch plugin and Search Guard Kibana plugin. The admin user has all the rights to perform all sorts of administration tasks in the system.

The admin is a part of the demo users. It exist in Search Guard by default, both in Elasticsearch and Kibana. There are other demo users too, look Demo users and role | Security for Elasticsearch | Search Guard
