Hi,

I decided to try the Search Guard Plugin on my ELK-Stack.
Unfortunately, my Server (RHEL 6) is not allowed to access the Internet, so I can't download and install the search-guard-2 plugin and the search-guard-ssl plugin via bin/plugin install -b com.floragunn/search-guard-2/2.3.3.2 and bin/plugin install -b com.floragunn/search-guard-ssl/2.3.3.13 as described in the installation manual.

Could you please tell me how to download and install Search Guard manually?

Thank You

Hi,

thank you for the response, but I can't install it this way neither.
I get the following error message because I have no internet connection:
Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org - Errno::ECONNREFUSED: Connection refused - Connection refused (https://api.rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz\)
ERROR: Installation aborted, verification failed for ../../root/search-guard-ssl-5.0.0-alpha3-10a.zip

No, I use Elasticsearch 2.3.3.

Do I have to update to ES 5 for using Search Guard?
