We’re happy to announce the release for Search Guard 5.0.0-rc1, compatible with Elasticsearch 5.0.0-rc1!
Search Guard (®) is an Elasticsearch plugin that offers encryption, authentication and authorisation. It builds on Search Guard SSL and provides pluggable auth/auth modules in addition.

This is an early release, so do not use it in production! And don’t forget to help us by reporting any bugs you encounter on our github issue tracker:
We have also released new Search Guard bundles:
- Search Guard Bundle 2.4.1, which includes the new REST management API
- Search Guard Bundle 5.0.0-rc1, based on Elasticsearch 5.0.0-rc1
Note that the REST management API currently does not work with Elasticsearch 5.0.0-rc1, we’re at it!
