we have just released Search Guard 36.0.0 for Elasticsearch and Kibana.
This release contains numerous fixes and additions. For example, we added the possibility to assign Search Guard roles to internal users directly and added ChaCha20 support. Check out the changelogs:
The biggest addition is a completely rewritten configuration UI for Kibana. The new UI is a React app based on the Elastic UI Framework. It integrates seamlessly with Kibana and the Kibana user experience:
