Multiple authentication methods

Hi,

I would like to ask if it’s possible to combine multiple authentication types e.g. HTTPBasicAuthenticator and HTTPSClientCertAuthenticator ?

We currently have a bunch of machines that have SSL certificates generated by puppet, so we could use the certs to authenticate hosts to the ES cluster and provide them write access. And for regular users/other tools use another method of authentication (such as HTTPBasicAuthenticator or LDAP).

Thanks!

its currently only possible by seeting up one node of the cluster for basic and a other node for ssl client cert authentication.
Multiple authenticators are on the roadmap but they will not come very soon (unless there is someone contributing it earlier).
