I am working on integrating SearchGuard with AWS managed OpenSearch, but I am not able to find any compatibility matrix to understand what all version of OpenSearch are supported by SearchGuard and also in future how it will change with new releases. I can only find it for ElasticSearch.
Could you please help?
@nishant78 SearchGuard is built for Elasticsearch. OpenSearch already has its own security plugin. Can you maybe elaborate on your use case?
It is the system requirement to use Search Guard as a security plugin, I am doing analysis to either use OpenSearch or ElasticSearch. SearchGuard support is a mandate. I read that with SearchGuard FLX 1.0.0 beta, the support was added.
@nishant78 SearchGuard is only compatible with ElasticSearch and the SG version matrix can be used to retrieve the necessary versions for ES used.
