Encryption on elastic search indexed data

Hi,

I have some terminology misunderstanding of Search Guard. Does Search Guard encrypt the elastic search indexed data?

No, Search Guard (as well as any other ES security offer i am aware of) does not encrypt data on disk (encryption at rest).
You can achieve this by encrypting your disks with common solutions like dm-crypt.

What Sarch Guard encrypt is wire data via SSL/TLS.
