Community Edition and Netty

  1. Is the Community Edition of SearchGuard available for SearchGuard-5 ? If available, is the community edition compatible with ElasticSearch 5.5?

  2. Is the Jar file(netty-tcnative-openssl-1.0.2l-static-2.0.5.Final-non-fedora-linux-x86_64.jar) that we are being told is required, also owned by the same company that owns SearchGuard? Do you have any documentation on what that jar file is and what it does?

I am sorry to say that Search Guard 5 has reached end-of-life. Thus, we can neither provide support nor binaries.
