# Search Guard for Elasticsearch 5.4.2 released

We have released Search Guard 5.4.2-12 today, compatible with Elasticsearch 5.4.2.

You can install it like any other Elasticsearch plugin:

/bin/elasticsearch-plugin install -b com.floragunn:search-guard-5:5.4.2-12
