# Search Guard 5.5.2-15 released, Search Guard 6 is on the way - feedback wanted!

Search Guard 5.5.2-15 released

We have released Search Guard 5.5.2-15 today, compatible with Elasticsearch 5.5.2.

You can install it like any other Elasticsearch plugin:

/bin/elasticsearch-plugin install -b com.floragunn:search-guard-5:5.5.2-15

Elasticsearch 6 is already on the horizon, and so is Search Guard 6!
