Is it possible to restrict the number of indices queried in Kibana, and/or the time period?

For example, I would like most users to be restricted to querying a 3-month period, to avoid excessive load on the cluster. I don’t mind whether those 3 months are this year, last year, etc.

Thanks,

Tom

Do you mean you want to restrict the time filters that are available in Kibana to say, 3 months only? If this is the case then the answer is no, this is Kibana code we can’t control or change from the Search Guard plugin.
