# Installation Issue

Hello All,

I am trying to install Search-Guard and experiencing an issue.

Elasticsearch Version - 2.3

[elk@es01 /]$ sudo docker exec -it elasticsearch plugin install com.floragunn/search-guard/0.5

→ Installing com.floragunn/search-guard/0.5…

Downloading .DONE

ERROR: Could not find plugin descriptor ‘plugin-descriptor.properties’ in plugin zip

Anybody else experience this? How to overcome?

Well, I see ES 2.3.1 is not supported yet. I guess I could easily downgrade ES first to 2.2.1.
