# Hide some Kibana menus based on roles

Hello,
Is there any way to hide some kibana menus based on the user role ? We would like to hide the following menus and display them only for the super admin user
- Canvas
- Machine Learning
- Infrastructure
- Logs
- APM
- Dev Tools
- Monitoring
- Management → Elasticsearch
- Tenants
- Account
For the other menus (like Discover, Visualize, Dashboard, …) the user should have access with write permissions.
If this feature is not introduced yet, could you please tell us when it will be available ?

We are working on this feature and will release it for SG7, most probably within the next 4 weeks. Search Guard for ES7 already includes the groundwork for this, so rolling out the feature should be relatively straight forward.
