Cannot create New Role Mappings from UI

I upgraded from Searchguard 6.7 to 7 and now I cannot use the UI for creating Role Mappings.
On inspecting the element, I see this error:

TypeError: $scope.resource.backendroles is undefined

However, I can still use the Dev Tools API to create new role mappings.

Config:
Elasticsearch: 7.0.1
Kibana: 7.0.1
search-guard-7:7.0.1-35.0.0
search-guard-kibana-plugin-7.0.1-35.0.0
